Today is my first day in SRJC, and I had an unforgettable experience.
The 5 girls on my right are 'burden 1-5'(quite confusing nicknames..), they are all very enthusiastic and hospitable. They treat me like their old friends. The boys on my left are very gentle, one of them even bought ice-cream for all the girls!:)During the class, they ask questions and talk with teachers very actively, making the lessons full of fun. After class, they play sports and have fun together. I am so happy to enter such a united class!
The teachers also impressed me a lot. The physics tutor, Mr Chew, always gives us warm-up questions to open our mind. I enjoyed the 'tricky' questions so much. And the Chemistry lecturer was also very interesting: he hided sticks under our desks and asked us to find whether we are the lucky ones to show our answer in front of all the students!
I enjoyed my day a lot, so pity I didn't get chance to watch their competitions in the afternoon because I had to go back to hostel before the curfew time. I hope all of us can enjoy our 'new life' in SRJC and we and our buddies can keep in touch after this JC immersion!
