First day in SRJC

Although it's quite miserable to wake up at 5:30 am, I still looked forward to this journey to SRJC very much. My first impression of SRJC campus was tidy and nice.  In the flag-rising ceremony ,we were warmly welcomed by all the students and teachers. That's what they called "SRJCians' hospitality".  In addition , I was quite impressed by the national pledge they took every morning--
     We, the citizens of Singapore,
pledge ourselves as one united people,
regardless of race, language or religion,
to build a democratic society
based on justice and equality
so as to achieve happiness, prosperity and
progress for our nation.
I think the pledge show the wisdom of Singapore. That's why Singapore can be a model of multicultural harmony and develop so rapidly.
Then I met my buddy Chee Chau. He is a very outgoing friendly and muscular boy. He had already kindly reminded me that we would have PE lesson on Monday .
Monday was also the first day they conducted new schedule. Therefore , my buddy was quite confused about where the classroom was. The arrangement in SRJC is quite familiar with the one in NTU. They have lectures in big lecture theaters and tutorials in small classrooms. However, all the students concentrated on teachers in big lectures.
The first lesson was math.It was about graph sketching. To be honest, the accent of teachers was not so acceptable for me(so many "lah") I looked through the tutorial book of my buddy with great interest. It really reminded me of the time in high school. While the PE lesson was quite disappointing since the teacher talked about regulation for  an whole hour!  The time elapsed so quick and it was time for lunch. The food in canteen was quite cheap and satisfactory. What's more, I really like the design of tables in canteen.
After chemistry and physics lectures, it was time to say goodbye to my buddy. I spent a great day in SRJC.:->
