At the last
afternoon of our JXP, my buddy brought me to his special CCA, the Student
Council. He is one of the competitors for the new batch of the Student Council.
And on that day, my buddy was assigned a tiny Project Work to compete against
his opponents. During the briefing of the Student Council given by the head
teacher, I realized the great difference between China and Singapore. Many
students in China join in the Students’ Union just to satisfy their desire to
control everyone around. But in Singapore, I found most about the passion for
serving and the energy for innovation. In his fresh team, they also had the
first meeting with the lead of a senior in Student Council. Here in Singapore,
they care more about the teamwork and the corporation. The senior in our team
lead us play an ice-breaking game which made all of us know each other more. I
think such kind of meeting to be quite different from the serious
self-introduction in China. In the Chinese way, we can hardly remember anyone
else, while in this way we can get more interesting about my friends.
